Army arrests 31 Boko Haram members

The Nigerian Army has arrested 31 suspected Boko Haram members after a clash on Thursday. Punch reports that the suspected Islamists were arrested as they tried to flee to Cameroon through Taraba and Adamawa. According to the report, 11 insurgents were killed after exchanging fire with the troops. Turkish Press reports that arms including improvised explosive devises and rifles were recovered from the suspects' hideout.
